With the parts quality, transformers and tubes and price, the stereo unit is great value.
Extended warranty is interesting idea would think tubes aren’t covered but just in case anything in the stereo build goes awry: you’re covered ?

We made three different models The EQP-1AM (traditional Mono Pultec), the EQP-1AS (fully stepped stereo Pultec) and the EQP-1AS Plus (fully stepped solid state and tube Pultec) It's going to be a very busy end of the year for us!! I'm drooling. I loved tracking with a Pultec, even with tone controls barely engaged. To then be able to use it in the stereo mix is brilliant.

Your call. I do know they actually have the 3 prototypes made,(some here in the past have wondered about that), so they know how to build them and how long it takes. I’m still fighting my $15k tax bill here and just for fun the gov’t reduced by benefits by $350 monthly, until the debt is paid, but it won’t say how long it will take to complete its review: catch22: otherwise, I’d be ordering the stereo tube/solid state pultec. Am just finishing a new album, would love to have that eq now !  |

I wonder why they went 3u on these, when the previous ones were 2u? Better heat dissipation for the new tube based power supply like the original. The previous one had a solid state one. We also like the original look better. |

This seems like an idea someone should have already done. Kind of like how you rarely see Urei 1178’s compared to 76’s. I am not a huge Pultec fan myself. But many people swear by them. This is a really cool idea, seems like it was right in front of everyone’s face for the longest time but nobody thought to do it! |

I believe there's a slight design difference in the 1178, but yeah. tempting. But still waiting on the 660.

We will be removing the pricing tomorrow 9 am (Atlantic time) from the website has all 3 models have exceeded the first 50, if anyone still wants to secure one for the super low intro price you still can.
There is a 4th variation (Pultec EQP1A) that will be on the website this week.
