I've been using it a few weeks. It's really good.

QUANTEC user here for many years. Now using the QUANTEC Yardstick. The Savant Audio new software does carry some of the QUANTEC magicke.
Most people commenting on the new software have never even known about the QUANTEC hardware out of Munich. If the wish list of features that GS posters want were to be implemented, the sound would no longer be QUANTEC.

That’s so cool to hear… It’s been way too many years since I’ve got to play with a Quantec!

My room is super dead, looking for a convincing room verb to tie things together. I’ve got a Bricasti, but if I can find something ITB that’s cheaper, that would be beautiful.

I got it a few weeks ago too. Great verb, helps free up the Bricasti from room duties. The also just released AAX which is handy.

I think we should call it Quantum (not quantec) just to avoid confusion. But I find that it’s definitely more “verb” sounding and less “deceptively realistic” than the Seventh Heaven (or M7) when using to try to put a dry capture into a natural space. It does add some cool density to things though. So can beef up an anemic track a bit. But it becomes exposed as a reverb box quickly as you add more. (Which is cool, just maybe not what you are talking about using it for.). But definitely worth having.
