Doing a mash with a buddy of mine tomorrow morning.
I have some damson plum trees and froze quite a few of last years yellow damson plums.
So tomorrow morning we start on the mash. Just plums, maybe some blackberries, and sugar water. doing about 27-30 gallons. We'll be distilling 25 and using the rest to blend with our plum brandy for flavor. It'll be barrel/oak chip aged and we're hoping for the best!
