Just bought it in a fit of GAS. I'll report back. Maybe lay down a little something on the padkontrol. Show off my drumming prowess.

Man - they are very realistic...They sound much less plasticky than AD1 to me. Still, they're less meat and potatoes and more obscure/vintage kits which is really, really cool, but doesn't always fit for my productions. I've got a project that I'm doing that I used SD2 NY Vol. 3 on - which are some of the nicest drum hits in the SD2 catalog IMO - and after using AD2 for a while and coming back, the SD2 sounds were flat and lifeless in comparison. Now - they seemed to work better in the mix I was using - but less realistic. I need to learn how to reign AD2 in - like get a kit that I love and get it balanced and treated the way I want it - then I could see myself using this a lot.
