Mac Studio Won’t Pair With Keyboard

Just started my Mac Studio for the first time. Can’t get my keyboard to pair. It’s an older Apple wireless keyboard. When scanning for input devices in the system preferences it recognizes my keyboard but then when I hit accept it does nothing, just gets stuck trying to link.

Any ideas? The keyboard works great with my other Mac. Changed the batteries, turned in on/off etc.
