Total Keith Richards if Keith Richards was Tom Bukovac. I’m preaching to the choir, but what he’s doing is so incredibly hard. Just the hand dexterity. Not to mention the tone. And perfection. My goodness.

This reminds me of that Tommy Emmanuel Eleanor Rigby/Here Comes The Sun thing he did. Except this is off the cuff and there’s no comparison in the tone of the two.

Hmm.. Must admit in the world of metal that's umm average at best. I'm not saying that he's a bad player or anything of the sort it's just some of the guitar players in metal are absolutely nuts. They can play a lot more than metal as well, quite a few are Jazz influenced for some reason (I understand why but it seems odd in context).
Some Yngwie Malmsteen type lute solo's really did make me chuckle before they broke down into some Bach style songs. If nothing else I was always enamoured by the musicianship in that style of music (when recording decent bands) even if I didn't like half of it.

Go onto Apple music or whatever, lookup soilwork machine gun majesty and skip to about 3:14.. Enough said  . Maybe we have different ideals on what constitutes a "good" guitar player, in that case it don't matter does it? |
