Watched this video just now and thought to myself.... I MUST GET THIS!!! Anyone had an experience with this unit? I am currently using a Serpent Audio SB4001 going into a pair of Heritage 73jr and was pretty happy with it until I saw this video. Obvious difference in gain but even after considering that I still like what this unit does to the mix.. damn why must all good gears be so expensive  |

Yeah SB 4001 is pretty cool and I love it  but this promo video did a good job on making this thing look/sound so good.... and it's a NEVE... BTW I saw a few posts about the dangerous compressor when it came out but haven't heard anyone talking about it ever since then. How does it sound? Surgical/transparent comps or a character compressor (or somewhere in the middle perhaps)? |
