BOC/Deep purple in Costa Mesa aug 6th, ughh yeah, some major classic tunage going on there, i'm gonna go, hey donr, look for a dude wearing one of only 20 known Realgear collector item t-shirts in existence, chances are that'll be me lol 8)

Is it me or does it look like Will Ferrell isn't really playing those drums?? I thought it was a well-done fake. Thinking that's why Will did the count-off on the sticks each time before starting, something about syncing up to a track or whatever. Also, during the "difficult" parts, the camera panned to a close-up head shot, whereas the camera was all over the real player from the Chili Peppers. I may be wrong, as there are a lot of celebrity actors that are actually very good musicians as well.. There are some real drummers on this forum - what do you all think??

As a drummer , the funniest thing about that whole thing was how bad Will faked playing drums . Maybe he was really trying to fake it , but to me it looked so bad/fake it made it even funnier . |
