I'm a part of a small boutique pro audio joint in the Pacific Northwest. Migrated here because it's hard to have discussions about gear without getting slammed by the mob-mentality of "the other forum." Looking forward to some hopefully civil discussions about gear, production, and food. We talk about food here, right?

Good to have you here! Really, there's only one general rule..."Don't be an asshole"...I think that covers a lot of ground. Food is something I have a very special place in my heart for...so, post away...(OK, maybe food in the off topic section)...

Didn't realize we could discuss food. So.. what's the best budget sandwich or is it better to DIY? Maybe a shootout is in order? Pizza: ITB or OTB?
But seriously... welcome!

Actually a food/beverage department would be cool! I find many sound engineers are very interested in food and often are very good chefs with the same approach as when mixing. Actually my wife (also a musician) and I often use sound metaphors when talking food, like 'Did you like the sauce? Too much mid?'

'Did you like the sauce? Too much mid?' I like my sauce with a lot of mids. What does that even mean? I don't know. But I think I like it.

Of course, vintage gorgonzola is much smoother.

So you sell mics, preamps, and "stuff".........by "stuff" you mean Vintage Gorgonzola ? I've heard through the grapevine that the price for that stuff is gonna skyrocket soon..........

Think about it, we've been doing this all along in reverse, with descriptions of food for gear, chewy, creamy, rich, buttery, Pro audio is chocolate chip cookies for you ears or some shit? yaay, i love cookies! lol
