Recently there's been discussion on other forums about a new product that level matches processing. In other word when you add compression or eq the plug keeps the level the same. There's a great freebie but it's 32 bit.
Enter witti's js auto level plugs. They do a great job of level matching (good enough for my ears) and have become a very useful tool. And they're free!
There are also a ton of great tools in the witti Dynamics pack but the auto level ones are brilliant for me!!

Btw some of the js's are tweaked versions of already existing js's according to witti.
