Ive heard of a lot of people having trouble with them. So I would take that into consideration.

I'd stay away from this stuff. You get what you pay for.

I have two of the Eqs and three of the comps. They all sound good. I have had a problem with one of the EQs giving off a burnt smell, though. I took it back to the shop, which had it checked. They couldn't find anything wrong. I probably won't buy any more of the EQs, but I can recommend the compressors.

I guess, you have to kind of consider the price tag, when you are buying this kind of gear.
Gas sufferer emptor of course 8)
cheers

Lindell stuff will take heat on here. He's a mod at a forum not held in high regard around here. I've never heard his equipment, at the price point I'm sure it isn't vintage neve but I'd be surprised if sucks. The only thing I've ever heard suck is a Teac mixer.

I know 2 people who seem to be pretty happy with them. Weekend warrior type dudes. Everyone else I know who is full time has moved on. On that note though a lot of people seemed to like how they sound, It was just a reliability issue.

I'm not a fan of the guy, but I just picked up a pair of these. The price is low enough that there isn't much risk involved. I figure that I can shoot them out against my Summit and see how they fair. You'll see either these or a Summit in the Classifieds next week.

I had a pair of these, didn't like them. Limited eq points and found myself using software emu's and getting much better results. Sometimes just because it's hardware doesn't mean it will be better than software. I can tell you that the UAD pultecs out now are dangerously close to a real one. I'd rather spend $300 on that and have as many as I want than $300 on just one, that is severely limited on eq selection. Heck, even the cheaper software emu's sounded better than this eq, and had much more versatility.

Just to set the record straight, I could care less who buys from Lindell. I have a problem with him being a moderator and deleting threads, not because he makes ultra cheap gear. I haven't used it, but I haven't heard positive reviews of it.
