i'm thrilled with the one i picked up, cost me $9.99, works great with pro tools, i just sit down, and go. I no longer need to de headphone, go back to the desk and start everything all over if i blow a take, or if i don't like what i hear when i play it back, it has actually relieved me of some performance anxiety i was unaware i had.. lol. Is that the app you linked to? It's not a hardware device? That app is Iphone or Ipad only. I own zero Apple devices, not even an Ipod. My computer doesn't have wireless of any sort either. It's a 12 year old pentium 4 mk1.. Dude...it's time to upgrade the ol' computer... |

It's a 12 year old pentium 4 mk1.. Dude...it's time to upgrade the ol' computer... Why? it works great. Never installed an update, never downloaded a single thing and never been connected to the internet.. So I've never had a virus or anything on it. It's worked flawlessly every single day I've used it save for a couple of power supplies and a HDD upgrade or two. Handles 56 tracks before getting a little slow on the video refresh.. But seriously, it's just a recording computer.  But yeah, I have another new computer sitting and waiting to be installed. Since it requires swapping over and upgrading all versions of software I'm running, I have to wait until a point where all my sessions are done because some won't work on the new system. |
