Anybody using the Type 19 on piano? I had been considering a pair of BeesNeez 67s to use on piano, among other things, but I keep forgetting about the Type 19.

Also reach out to Dr Bill for his thoughts as i think from memory he was a type19 user. I got one of the early H47Ts and I use it every single freaking day. It blows my mind! No type19 here. Would LOOVE to try a pair out sometime though.... Completely agree about the H47T. Spectacular microphone. Just wonderful. And like Ward, I've got both the capsule types. Makes an already fantastic microphone totally over the top. |

I have four of the type 019s and they are my fav utility LDC.
Hugh image with perfect midrange and sweet top.

Just grabbed two of these and came here to gush. So far i've only tried them on low tuned/overdriven bass, lead guitar and some backing vocals, and they were stellar all around. i'm considering selling off some of my lesser used mics to grab a third! These will see tons of use around here.
