- SCHOEPS CM65 Tube Microphone, SN:2036, no power supply. Cardiod/Omni pattern selector, -15db pad selector, like new mic cable.
Here's the story on this Schoeps mic: This microphone “most likely” only needs a recently discovered leg on a capacitor resoldered.(I tried to get a photo of this) It worked 9 months ago perfectly(checked with 2 ch.power supply I no longer have, sold with pair of Schoeps branded CM65s.) Packed it away. Fired it up recently before selling power supply, no output from mic, zilch. So, I am not a tech kinda guy to solder something so delicate and space confined(and have no supply to check it if I did), plus I am only looking to sell the mic, to an interested buyer who has “tech type fixit skills”. I am 99.9% sure this is all it needs. If it doesn’t, I’ll take it back no questions, truthfully, full refund. So if you have a power supply that matches this mic and want to give it a shot let me know. I have plenty of photos.
