Downloaded it & compared it to AIR DB-33, Arturia B-3V & GG Blue3. It's got to be the best B3 VI I've heard. Ended up buying it for $113. Shame that Acousticsamples B5 doesn't allow a free trial so that's the only one I couldn't compare to (of those I was interested in, had or used) but from what I heard the IK has to be or is definitely one of the best Hammond/Leslie combinations - very realistic.

Dang... I paid way more than that not that long ago. I'm a big fan as well and honestly don't regret paying $200 or whatever it was.

To me, it’s the best one. B5 is good too, but I prefer the Leslie on the B-3X. It can really get that growl with glisses.

Damn John. That sounds pretty good. The song, I mean. Where was it recorded? Thanks, man! That B-3X just sounds freaking amazing there, I thought. Jimbo Hart (bass player with Jason Isbell) recorded bass drums and one acoustic at his place...she sang there too. I got the tracks and recorded a second Acoustic, electric guitars and B3...and mixed and mastered. I think it's the exact same thing...not that it opens on Monterey in Pro Tools

I'm looking for an new Organ VI - I used to use NI B4 which was very good.
So far listening to demos on developers websites Youtube comparisons my favourite has been the Acousticsamples B5 - it has a lovely warm sound with a thick souful tone.
Is the IK B3X samples of entirely modelled?

I just bought the IK B3X - I'd been eyeing it up because I do prefer the Leslie on it over the AS B5 but I was put off by the full price but the Best Service price was too tempting - glad I read this thread! I'd like to own both eventually as they do have a different sound and would fit different tracks I think. Your new song sounds great - the singer is fantastic too! .... and the B3X sounds fantastic on your track - it kinda pushed me to go for it - you should be on commission :-)

I'm unclear. Where are you guys finding the BX-3 for the sale price being discussed?

Best Service can have some insanely good deals from time to time. Got an assload of toontrack stuff cheap one time and they have a massive reverb IR that’s way cool.

Bought a couple of days ago. Downloaded & installed today. Sounds very good. I'm thinking it may edge out the B5. I'll have to do some A/B comparisons, but so far, I'm impressed....

Thanks for making me aware of it. Long time Hammond fan, had an M3 in the '70s and clones since. I have a Korg CX-3 (the digital one), plus Ventilator (Leslie in need of repair, and a low priority, since miking is a pain), that gives me what I want, but I've kept a watch for a plug-in that could match it, for ITB convenience. This seems to be it. At first blush the Ventilator is a better sound, but the IK Leslie will do. I like the flexibility with amping and FX.
