I really doubt that Mr. McAndrews has or will ever have earned 30m $ for 2013: Compensation for 2013: Salary $153,425 Bonus $150,000 Restricted stock awards $10,690,000 All other compensation $20,642 Option awards $18,153,321 Total Compensation $29,167,388 (source: www.forbes.com/profile/brian-mcandrews/)

No, I don't think so. By no means I am supporting the current model of Pandora, Spotify et al, but just throwing out some ridic huge renumeration figures without any further explanations is just misleading. Heck, I'd love to give him and his management pals 50m a year if only musicians could make a living out of all this streaming stuff.

If someone earns $29 Million, that usually means they are turning over TREMENDOUS profits for his company and is worth every penny. What bothers me is that they are LITERALLY making money off others work.
