After 3 years of waiting, I finally requested a refund on the SSL EQ.
TLDR: I paid the transaction fees, so all in all it cost me about $10 to let Stam hold my money over 1000 days. 🙃

I've gotten some more time on the SA-23A+ lately and it is really nice. I think the 3A is becoming my go-to vocal compressor. Such a nice mix of cushion and assertive grab. Pretty effortless sounding, really like it. I also use the 2A slow a lot.

Pretty effortless sounding, really like it. I also use the 2A slow a lot. The 2A slow is my favorite. The 3A is similar to the 2A fast to my ears. Unfortunately I won't me baking more of these units as they are super expensive to make, very time consuming and calibrating them is a challenge. I am however working on something very special that will be based on this unit! |
