I got one and really love it. About as simple to use as you can get, with beautiful tremolo.

Sweet, ya, simple controls but great tone and break up!
Crazy money ?

Crazy Money? That's the starting price for a non-mint 6G2, so not crazy at all.
Glad I got my 74 Princeton and 80 Princeton Reverb back 20 years ago for $250 and $450 respectively...

Came close to buying a used one a couple times. I ended up with a Down Brownie amp, which is a boutique Brownface deluxe with a killer MV.

Sounds pretty fine here, anybody played through one of these ? I own the original, I haven't played the reissue but my 64 6G2 is one of the best amps I've ever played and definitely my favorite sounding tremolo. It's somewhere between a Blackface Princeton and a 57 deluxe, very mid focused which makes it a great recording amp imo.
