Here some presets for R2 that I came up with. The supplied presets are absolutely killer and probably all you'd ever need for starting points but Mr. Carnes made an excellent tutorial that inspired me to tweak. Also R2 and Phoenix seem to be idiot proof as I couldn't get a bad sound out of them!! The presets are in a zipped file.Anyway I hope you enjoy. I'll be tweaking Phoenix next and will post when they're done. Henge R2 Presets 1.zip (6.37 KB)

Hello Henge! allow me to do a temporary mini-hijacking of your thread : since the small ambience thread, you know I am a VVV lover, and I think you did some extensive comparing, how do the exponential audio products do regarding "real" medium/short spaces? Luckily I have no iLok2 to try it, so I can avoid a clash with my financial advisor ( my lady )....well at least temporary, until the lust finally catches up and brings the well-verbed ( pun intended ) lawyer in me regards, Nico

Like you, I think VVV is a fantastic soft verb and the Ambience presets kill. R2 can get even smaller and tighter with more transparent air. The Little Red Car presets are amazing for creating space you don't even know is there. Mute the verb and the image shrinks into 2d ness. VVV's Ambiences are more aggressive sounding and R2 is smoother and more refined imo. The wealth of usable presets in R2 is very cool as well. Next set of presets I'll try will be medium sized spaces. Luckily it's pretty hard to make R2 sound bad!

Thanks Henge what about Phoenix? isn't that one supposed to be even more geared towards invisible? Phoenix is very clear sounding. Can't wait to tweak that one!
