As I sit here in a fury working on my THIRD breaking EditorKeys POS keyboard in six months (two busted command keys, one busted space bar), I find myself wondering what other people here are using for reliable, wired USB-A keyboards in their shops. Numeric keypad is a requirement.
Thanks in advance!

PC or Mac?
If PC, I've had great luck with Dell keyboards. Not pricey and I'm still using ones that I bought 10 years ago. NOT purchased from Dell. From amazon or eBay. Usually around $20.

I went through a ton of keyboards and bought a Keychron K4 Mechanical keyboard with Red (non-clicky) switches. It's been great - the full-featured but compact size keeps you from having to move your wrist so much = less wear and tear. It's mac/pc, wired/wireless. I got the aluminum one with RGB backlight and have only ever used it on a mac as a wired keyboard (I am generally anti-wireless) and I use it on my Pro Tools system. there is a tiny bit of muscle memory to re-learn due to the more compact than usual layout but it gave me zero issues. They make full-size versions too. Here's the one I got (I think they sell their keyboards through Amazon and other places too) www.keychron.com/products/keychron-k4-wireless-mechanical-keyboard-version-2?variant=32287332696153I have no desire for a new keyboard but the new hotness is supposed to be the MX Keys www.logitech.com/en-us/products/keyboards/mx-keys-mac-wireless-keyboard.920-009552.html I know 2 or 3 video and audio people who are MX Mouse Users and have purchased and rave about the MX Keys but I haven't tried one.

Being on Mac, when the kid was to young to understand that spilling stuff and dirty hands screwed up the keyboard yet old enough to fill the Amazon cart. I bought 10 apple hardwired keyboards as a lot on eBay.

Not wired, but I use a bluetooth solar keyboard in the studio now. The solar panels keep me from needing to change batteries if that's why you wanted a wired keyboard.

Nah,, sadly, wired is necessary because our machine room's location prevents robust wireless.
