For the past two years I have been obsessed with the Tiny House Movement. A quick google search will bring you up to speed if you're unfamiliar but starting next year it is my goal to build one of these homes and run my studio in it. Here's the home I am currently looking to build.

Downsizing my gear is going to be a huge part of this. I currently have:
- SSL Alphalink
- Focusrite Octopre
- Mackie Onyx 800r
- Behringer Powerplay 4
- Presonus Lightpipe
- Kemper Profiling Amp
- Adam A7s
- Mackie BigKnob
- Neumann TLM49
TLM102
TLM103
- MD421
- SM57
- B52
- Josephson C42 pair
- Ayotte Drums
My main goal will be to downsize and streamline all of this, I've been ITB for the last year and completely happy with the results I've been getting as a result of the Slate plugs, UBK and others. This won't change.
All the work I've currently posted has been tracked in a 10x10x10, mostly untreated room. There's some light trapping in the corners that tightens the kit up and the room is actually quite reflective and it's worked out extremely well for me. It might be just a case of weird luck that drums sound good in there.
I'm going to be selling my Ayottes. I love them but I will definitely need a kit from www.whitneydrums.com that will allow me to save some space, store them in a compact manner and still allow me to have a good sounding kit. My drummer has a set of these and they are a joy to record and play.
I'm going to sell off my entire rack and go with an Antelope Zen and a Laptop. I might even sell the Adams and size them down to the A5 series as I probably won't have the space I do now to mix. I also would like to get quality clip on tom mics to save some space as well.
The first thing I gotta do is get the flatbed to start working on the home. I will see what I can do to keep this thread updated. I won't be starting for a while, I'd just like to get some feedback on here about a tiny living studio that is fully function to record bands in.
