You will see below your profile a positive/negative transaction rating. This is specifically for rating transactions completed in the Classifieds section. Click on positive rating and you get 1 point, negative minus 1 point. It's a little simplistic, but lets see how it goes. Obviously, people will have to use it responsibly. Good news is, you can't rate yourself.  |

can anybody in effect rate another member or only the parties who have actually had a transaction ?
is there some control that prevents someone from just putting negative marks against someone ?
don't mean to be pessimistic, but ,,,

Think you should only have the option for Positive and no negative? Or should the two options be "good" and "bad" or something.

i think it'll work for now, as all the guys here are cool, but when numbers build, if anyone can hit the rating button, all mayhem will break loose? should be limited to the 2 who participated in the transaction only. just a thought.

It's a plugin for the board...ie, it's free...Since this is built on the proboards platform, we can't really code anything we want...not that I would know how to do it or want to pay for it. If we were to grow bigger maybe we could move to our own platform...but that would mean lots more members and advertising.
