Every time I drink Bulleit, I think, “why don’t I drink this more often?” Its a fine bourbon that drinks higher than its price point.

Every time I drink Bulleit, I think, “why don’t I drink this more often?” Its a fine bourbon that drinks higher than its price point. That's why I stopped buying anything else while I'm in school (and thus have no job). How many times have I experimented and spent more money and thought, "Not bad...I like Bulleit Rye better..."? It's the same thing with wine for me. There's a super affordable label up here in the PNW called Columbia Crest. My in-laws are very into wine and have a vineyard and at the holidays we always do blind wine tastings. Always some really heavy-hitter bottles and usually a cheap bogie or two. The $8 Columbia Crest has come in 2nd more than once. It's just solid wine. Anyway, like with Bulleit, I'll go back to experimenting when I have more spare budget. For now, I'm rocksteady with the bargains I know. |
