Far from an expert but I keep coming back to czech brands, Urquell in particular, and after trying the unpasteurised Urquell a couple of times it gets my vote!

Top, Paul. Pilsner forever, we love it in northern germany. Btw., if you can get your hands on it, try my hometown's beer...a strong blonde pilsner (4,7%) with very little malt and sweet and strongly hopped, so it does not hurt much the next day. A classic that got quite known in germany over the last decades. Cheers.

Hi, just to make the record straight : the best beer was, is, and always will be Belgian.... why? because by the time you have tasted the following list of Belgian beers ( + 1000 species, at least ) there will simply be no other beer in your heart and mind... www.tiac.net/~tjd/bier/belglist.htmlBiased? me? totally I am from Belgium ok to reduce to my favourites : just start with a trappist Barbar ( hydromel based recipe with honey ) to melt in a sweet relaxed state, a Saint-Feuillien triple for some euphoric feel and with a disguised bite ( and quite an untastable 9%alcohol ...watch out!) and finish with a trappist Orval ( amber colored and unique flavour, characterful, deep yet light and refreshingly bitter ) for a big smile. talking about Belgian beers is like talking about the studio on this planet with the most and best gear ever btw: German lagers are very good regards Nico

I am completely a stout and porter guy. My favorite beer is simply the fresh one I just opened. However, there are serious contenders for the top of the heap. This is a new one to me and quite good. R

Hey yinz!!! Love this forum! Long time lurker/ first time poster here. The best (new to me) brew that I’ve had recently is Deschutes Black Butte Porter. Really wish they distributed their beer here in Nashville. If any of you happen to be in the Pittsburgh PA area, head over to OTB Bycycle Café for a pint (or 3) and a stunning view of North Park Lake. It will make your night.

probably not the best, but funny :-) The name of the town in Austria is really "Fucking" and "Hell" is a common type of beer here in Germany. www.fucking-hell.de/en/bier/

Well, that's a fresh one for summer (the first two of them)! We call it "Weizen" (wheat) or "Weissbier" ("white beer"). Nice one.^ Try it with a slice of lemon per bottle!

Hey Mo, where ya getting that stuff? A local store here in Bourne has it, it's one of the best I've had, reminds me of Warsteiner.

I haven't tried it, but the standard cheap Buffalo Trace is really good for a low cost bourbon. I imagine that this high dollar/high proof stuff coming out of Buffalo Trace is great.

I gotta say, I've been going through a lot of beer lately. Really enjoying the Shocktop taster packs but I would not recommend them for purists.

I've got 10 gigs this month...lot's of drinking. 2 Coors lights, a vodka-cran-soda-amaretto, a scorpion bowl, and a guinness so far tonight.

I just went to their website and it didn't say but they are my go to on these days. At the end of the summer I'm going to post all the work that I've done, I've never been busier which is great, just sitting up with my morning coffee waiting for the client to arrive. You still on the Ayotte hunt?
