Hello Everyone, Before all this COVID craziness began Emily and I were looking to try and break into the Florida music scene. We know there are many communities down there with theaters and ongoing concert seasons. We have family down there, so there is a home base for us there. I was wondering if anyone is down there and can share any insight about breaking into the scene once we put COVID behind us; booking agencies, contacts etc. I would love to book a small tour down there. Feel free to comment here or just PM me. For those of you who don't know us, here is a little bit about us: E&V Entertainment! Grand Opera, Musical Theater, the American Song Book – they sing it all! Married, singing duo – Vincent & Emily Ricciardi have performed together throughout the tri-state area. Their love of Puccini, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Mozart, & Gershwin is shared with their audiences in each show. This husband and wife team met in 2008 when they fell in love during a production of The Pirates of Penzance. In 2013, they tied the knot and continue to make beautiful music together. Vincent & Emily's performances highlight some of the most famous artists’ repertoires of the 20th Century – Mario Lanza, Julie Andrews, Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion... and many more! Their performance together on stage always touches audiences and warms the heart. Nino Pantano of the Italian Voice stated that Vincent & Emily are “two of the most promising and talented performers today. Vincent Ricciardi’s lyric tenor is blessed with a smooth and easy top and gives the listener much to savor. Emily Wright-Ricciardi's secure and saucy soprano was a model of elegance."
Our shows are currently being performed with tracks or accompanist.

Well, it's looking more likely that I'll be heading to Florida permanently. Anyone here at RGO in Florida anywhere?

It will be a little bit, but the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area. Looking to do some networking, and I'm no stranger to a little bit of travel for concert work.

Vinnie, thinking about you and the hurricane. What a welcome to Florida. It’s heading north of me, and should just be rainy by me. It will hit around 2am, so we’ll see what happens.

Just letting anyone in the area know, we’ll be performing at the Feast of Little Italy in Jupiter, FL on November 4th at 1pm. If you’re in the area come check it out. It’s our first big gig down here.
Plus the food. Always come to the Italian Feasts for the food... zeppoli, cannoli, sausage and peppers. Admittedly, these all make for great post show snacks and meals.
