I bought a E9 pedal 6 string pedal steel from Hudson Guitars.  It was made for me... and was by far the cheapest way to get into pedal steel for me here in Australia. Man, these things are complicated....LOL I have two pedals, and two knee levers. I just recorded my first ever pedal steel guitar part. Its in this song. What a day we had that nightThe song is written about the time Jo and I went over to meet all you guys in Nashville, and we headed off the next day to Memphis, where I had a recording session at Sun, and the Foo Fighters were playing that night, just after Dave Grohl broke his leg. I got one about 10 years ago with the intention of learning how to play it really well...
Welp - turns out I never really had to time to invest into it as I was/am so busy with ..life, work, family, etc
Mine is a 3 pedal, 4 knee lever one that kick my ass every time I sit down behind it, but it’s still massively fun and I’ve gotten to play on a few records on it which is always fun.
Seriously cool instrument!
