looks like a great product. I'm an emotiva fan, too. I love the volume attenuation in the DC-1, very transparent. Hopefully this is similar.

Soooo...I am about to return my second CF for a refund. The first one had one side that was dramatically lower than the other and the second one has a problem with one of the channels going in and out when changing volume. Not good.

I switched Left for Right and the same thing happens on the opposite side when I switch - so it's definitely a problem with the CF (both times)...You know, it LOOKS like a quality product. It feels like a quality product. MUCH heavier than the TC Level Pilot I had. Nice braided cords. Wonder if I'm just the unluckiest CF buyer ever or it's just poor construction?

I had the Level Pilot and didn't think anything was wrong with it. What didn't you like?

I had the Level Pilot and didn't think anything was wrong with it. What didn't you like? I'm curious too. I use a Level Pilot with Focal CMS 65's, no issues. Too bad about the Emotiva.

I don't have to have one...but I was just trying to fill the hole so I wouldn't buy a Martin or a Neumann. This crap is a sickness. I got rid of the TC LP because I thought it was coloring the sound...but I think I was hearing things...It would be nice to not have to deal with the UA Console app to use the volume.

I would be curious what the crosstalk specs are. They don't show them on their site which makes me more curious.

@johnkenn, I ended up buying the MCONE. Its is really nice. Big torquee knob, just feels right! Switching is nice and silent and I have not noticed any colorations. For the price it is a steal.

My interface has a volume control and I love my Switch Witch for going back and forth, quickly.

The Metric Halo ULN8 (and other MH interfaces) have software controlled calibrated monitor level adjustment, but it's inconvenient to switch apps to tweak monitor levels on the computer. I assume the high buck line level monitor potentiometers out there are calibrated and track accurately. I just want to quickly turn the VOLUME down without switching apps on the DAW. The TC is fine for that purpose.

We use the McOne with the SuperBeast into the unbalanced input of the Plinius amp and the active Klein&Hummels balanced input. We were unlucky with the balanced input of the Plinius, it had a lowpass effect we couldn't figure out, it obviously is the Plinius' problem. Everything else and other amps work fine in this combination, balanced or unbalanced ins. The active SPL monitor controllers are fine stuff, but out of our budget, and now we see no need anymore as the McOne does what we need and the SuperBeast doesn't change sound due to the load of the passive controller. Fine Products. If NOS would build a passive monitor controller that would be throughout symmetric, otherwise just like the McOne, it would be nice. Their other product has a DAC we do not need...

PS: No way we would go stereo pots in a passive controller anymore. Tracking is so much better with rotary switches and precision resistors...

I had the Level Pilot and didn't think anything was wrong with it. What didn't you like? After about a MONTH it started cracking when I moved it!! Not good. Also at the lowest volume one channel was louder than the others. At least it could've lasted a year...
