47's are shipping right now, kindly email info@stamaudio.com so we can forward you one, there might be a wait time of 1-3 weeks as we are sending the fully paid ones at the moment and got another 25 to build before having some in stock.

Any word about the 609? Feb 15 has past and all pre-order’s was suppose to be shipped. Last communication was when I had to send another $300 for trannies.

Paid final payment April 21 and was told would ship 20 days later. Well it’s middle of June and still no unit. Can’t believe anything . Waited almost 3 years , what’s another year if not more. Going ahead and buying a Heritage 609 to do a project. I no it will get here when it’s suppose to. Very disappointed........

I hope it is ok to mention on this thread that I just received a Heritage 609 to check out and it is fabulous and amazing versatile. I have no idea how it compares to the Stam. bit late but i wonder how the heritage compares to the stam 33609. |

Stam is the shit. It's the closest in term of circuitry. The Heritage comp is not the same quality inside. Not real switches, thus overpriced. You'd be better off with 3 Behris lol.
It's not me saying it, it's a smart ass on YouTube that compared all the clones guts. Video's in French.

I believe I’m gonna have one of these before the fall (please baby Jesus). The Behringer 369 is waiting at the house, so I’m gonna do a big shootout video when I get the stam. I should rent a vintage Neve too. I think the AS one will be coming out soon too.

Yeah…it doesn’t really do the 1176 slowest attack, fastest release, set ratio to like 20:1 and hear it destroy and bring up the room…it can do that to a certain point, but this thing seems to be more about precise control. The Stam MkI definitely had a bigger bottom and could get dirtier… stam - maybe down the road sometime on a MkIII, you could add additional/slower attack times? Even if there was just one more that was like 25 or 50 ms. |

I honestly don’t miss a slow attack time at all on my Stam. I used the UAD plug for years on my mixbus after haphazardly mixing a record at another studio that had it on their comp.
I would love a HPF side chain tho - or even just a regular-ass side chain. But it is a really killer piece. It isn’t right for every project but it’s right for most of mine.

I’m coming out…
I sold my MkI. There, I said it…It’s terribly embarrassing, because it might be one of the dumber (*intentional use of non-word for increased humor) moves I’ve made. At the time, Pro Tools HW Delay Comp was a nightmare…and I just could NEVER get it to work totally right. So, using any HW that I didn’t want to print wasn’t gonna be a thing. But damn, I regret selling that thing.

It’s never easy letting go of gear you really like but we all have a lot of money sitting in our gear.
I paid off $16,000 in back taxes, was thinking of celebrating and ordering something special from Josh, same week another federal department mails me saying I may owe another $11,000: wtf ?
