I notice a lot of pics of studios/monitoring area with different wood elements: strips planks etc.. I have always assume they are there to add some ambiance , diffusion and to liven up a treated room, and as a bonus its is nice eye candy.
I have a fair amount of treatment in my room, still have room problems so use my headphones a lot but wonder if chasing bass , lower mid mud gremlins maybe I have over treated the room and could add some wood planking/strips.
Or, I also see the ghk absorber diffusers with the wood panel in front and think 4 of those would look great, do both functions and look super pro and only a simple order and $$ away? ?
