Stand up guy !

It was supposed to be delivered in 15 days , after oct 2, it basically disappeared for roughly 50 days, no tracking updates .

PP had a 30 day threshold for delivery so a dispute/claim can be launched after that.

Buyer and I are getting along fine, so I encouraged him to launch a claim, mistakenly thinking PP had insurance, they sent him the money, then claimed it back from me. So, I’d be out my gear and the money.

Buyer asked me to send what was now his gear to his Belgium, not his UK address, which was stated in his PP account, which I did. Never do this as this voids the sellers protection.

So, of course, once they started the refund, then the gear showed up and was delivered. I contacted PP advising them to stop or claw back refund which they didn’t do.

As I had sent to the other address, they said tracking number was invalid but it wasn’t. I know from talking to support staff, they could see that it was delivered, but their policy is to ignore that and to send refund to buyer and claim payment back from seller: completely idiotic.

Only good news is, buyer got the gear and is returning the refund to me so I can pay off claim.

Once the $ clears !
