Looking to step up my single pcb holder that can handle bigger/multiple pcb builds at a time.
I'm diggin this design, but is there anything else out there that would do the job without such a price tag? Maybe even some diy alternative??

That's pretty cool! Should definitely be handy for op amps. I use the big panavise and can get 2x 500 series boards in at the same time.

Yes! I learned in a shop with a Panavise. When I started working on my own this was the first thing I bought. www.panavise.com/index.html?pageID=1&page=full&--eqskudatarq=5The Panavise allows you to stuff parts, then quickly flip the board to solder. Speeds things up and holds everything securely. It's also good for holding other projects besides PCBs. It's way more than a tinkerer like me needs, but it is Real Gear.

I'm familiar with the panavise line, but I never felt the need to justify the xtra coin vs the cheapie single pcb holder I have now that can be adjusted and flip around as well... hence this search!!!
When I'm building say 6 vp28's at a time or whatever I'd really like to have em all out at once for stuffing and soldering to streamline the process and save time.

Panacise makes several interchangeable heads, including one for fairly large PC baoards and a normal small vise-type head in addition to the one in the ad.

Yeah, that's the one for larger boards.
They also have/had a "Junior" model that wasn't interchangeable, and bases for the interchangerable line that either bolted/screwed down or used a vacuum shoe for adhesion.

I also have a panavise. I use it occasionally but since I usual work with SMD, I usually just put the boards flat on the bench when soldering.
