After 25 years and tens of thousands of strips and trusty service, my wire strippers have pretty much had it. Any favorites for Mogami Multipair cable? 26AWG for the inner cables, not sure what the multipair is. Mogami is pretty much all I strip, but anything high quality that will go down to at least 26 AWG is good. Thanks in advance....

When I read that title all I saw was: Strippers? Favorites?? Lol Pole dancers?
But (more) seriously - when I was apprenticing to bring my amateur amp service skills up to a pro level my mentor taught me to use a simple pair of dikes by pinching a corner or the jacket anmd then pulling with a grip just strong enough to grab the jacket and not the internal wire. It takes practice and right now I don't do enough work to be as good as I used to be, but it's still my primary means of stripping, although I do have around 2 or 3 actual strippers. If I'm doing a lot of the same wire I'll sometimes use the common cheap but effective flat metal strippers that come with a slideable staple to set diameter. I also have pairs of the kind with preset gauge holes, but they don't always work as reliably as they should.
(8 typos - thimk I got 'em all...)

I bought a heavily used pair of Ideal brand 'Stripmasters' a few years ago and they were not only still perfect when I got them, but I probably won't ever wear them out.

Knipex do a good range but they are quite expensive. Don't know if they are available in all countries.

Used Klein's for years, but when I started building a bunch of 8 channel DSUB snakes earlier this year I grabbed one of those automatic strippers, by a company 'Jonard' I'd never heard of before. Does a decent job with a range of 8-26AWG. It only struggles with certain very stretchy cable jackets. What I do like a lot is that it never bites into the shield braid the way the standard type can do.
