If you guys really want an incredible guitar pedal just try the EMMA Electronis Stinkbug. It is incredible, fairly cheap and already out. If you want something heavier try their ReezaFratzitz I use the EMMA OnoMATOpoeia on almost every session. Great transparent drive with lots of control.

Fuzz pedal. Switchable circuits: probably Ge/Si or maybe Fuzzface/Tone Bender. And a fuzzy pedal covering! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!! Now THAT is something I would like to see! Maybe they'll bring 'Kustom' padded amps back also. They are already back!

It's a clone of the Boss DS-1 but $39 instead of $49. ππππππππππππ

Maybe a reissue of the Foxx Tone machine, favored by Adrian Belew and others? Or a reactive load box? I have the Fulltone version, love it. It gets GNARLY!

That's the one Josh Homme plays, the Fulltone. It's his main fuzz live, for a long time. I'm a fan, haha. Haven't tried the pedal yet but I should.

Danelectro not only makes it, he was the original designer of the Foxx pedals. they also reissued their backwards delay, all in better/stronger pedals.

Well, it's definitely fuzzy and orange!
Now I'm not so sure that it's going to be a fuzz pedal.

Nah, not enough margin on that stuff to meet their usual M.O.. Also, their M.O. is not digital. That would seem to be a significant departure and outside of their wheelhouse.

If not a fuzz maybe some funky standalone spring reverb box. It looks like fender stopped making theirs. Could also have studio applications.

When is the official cap on new fuzz pedals based on old fuzz pedals going to happen?

I'm interested on the phaser. Much more than the Fuzz.

When is the official cap on new fuzz pedals based on old fuzz pedals going to happen? I thought it had already happened. Clearly, I was wrong.

When is the official cap on new fuzz pedals based on old fuzz pedals going to happen? I'm not sure I understand the concern - The Foxx units have been out of production for 40 years and had a sound all their own; same with the Univox Super Fuzz. There are plenty of new designs, but I appreciate that there are new lower-priced alternatives than finding the exhorbitantly priced originals that may be in poor condition, etc. I owned a Univox Super Fun as a kid and foolishly sold it for a MXR Distortion II (the Univox wasn't very good as a distortion pedal but what did I know) and now old ones are $5-600, with that rubber pedal cover usually disintegrates... Would rather buy a reissue... Also on the Foxx Tone Machines, the flocking (name for the process to attach the fuzz to the enclosure, same process as GI Joe hair or on inflatable beds) tends to fall off as the glue dries out, and then you have those tiny 1/8" fibers getting into everywhere...

I'm not concerned. I just think the market for fuzz pedals and their clones is so far beyond the point of over-saturation that this is pointless and not interesting at all really.
