The vintage midi sounds so much better likely this is all to do with the gapped core, virtually no crosstalk, which is something Rupert prides himself on. Glad to see he's taking this old school approach into the midi and digital domain. Can't wait for the new thunderbolt transformer balanced interface...... can you say gooey and soupy harmonics, I know I can! |

No... heard about it..... but I did buy the UAD Fairchild bundle, I know you were heavy on that, guess I'll give their digital products a go next.

cant wait till capi comes out with a diy dual opamp, 2 stage midi thru-box API style answer to the neve, can you imagine how sick slamming the input, and attenuating the output will be!!!!

I've done tests...All 1's and 0's sound exactly alike.
