Had to take about 24 bgv tracks from 78bpm to 82bpm. All 3 programs did well without artifacts, but to my surprise... Pitch'nTime Pro 2.5 sounded the best and retained the high end of the vocals.

Is elastic what's in PT? Can't remember. I've had killer results with that. To the point that I don't hear any artifacts.

Yeah Elastic is in PT.... and if you x-form render you surely won't hear any, granted you go in and make sure all the warps are at the right beats and transients. Elastic is very good.

X-form? Is that one of the selections like monophonic, polyphonic, etc? I always switch to "ticks" then open and select poly, then look at the warp view and slip and slide there (if I want to match up harms to box or something). That the best way?

Yeah, well it's in that list. First you want to use like Poly, or Mono..... get it all sorted out and sounding "good" then scroll down to x-form, get up go plaster a wall and watch it dry, and when you come back it might be done, but it will sound great.

Yeah, Elastic is built in, but what Iw as saying is that while it sounded good, Pitch'nTime sounded better. Both Elastic and Melodyne took off some high end out of the vocals.

Hey jeromemason - how do you do the x-form thing? I saw x-form, but do you choose it instead of polyphony or whatever?

Yeah, but only when you get everything done in poly. So basically use poly to get everything stretched and in time, then click on X-form. It will render and won't sound artificial.

On a similar point, I'm looking to key change a whole outro chorus of a song. There are different audio stems of varying length, most are bounces of submixes so contain multiple instruments. What program/software do people recommend as the most transparent? Bear in mind that, whilst I use most things on the Mac, I don't have Pro Tools.
Help would be much appreciated. The project needs to be completed by the end of the day....
First post on this forum so hello to everyone.
