To the "Equipment Doesn't Matter Crowd"

This is a pro audio forum, not a scientific test forum. We are here to talk about how different pro audio makes your music sound different - no matter how large or how small. We are not here to post manifestos backed by "scientific" testing methods. You are entitled to believe what you believe, but this is not going to be a place to wage those arguments. There are other forums for that. I appreciate you all being here, but I didn't start this forum for it to end up in constant arguments...

Edit: I'm sorry if the title comes off as mocking...I don't mean it to be - I know that most are not saying equipment doesn't matter, but it doesn't matter as much as we obsess about. I totally get that. And I agree to an extent...but this is a forum dedicated to talking about that stuff...
I understand that the Beatles had four tracks. I understand that a new U47 isn't going to get me cuts. I understand that what we may hear sometimes are placebo effects...but for chissakes - let me have fun. I spend plenty of time creating songs, raising a kid and having to slog through the shit pile that is the music industry these days...and this is my release...this is my passion...I have FUN talking about this stuff. Some people love guns...but you don't see people coming on the gun forums and saying, "You know, we really don't NEED guns...we have plenty of food...and it has been proven that the trajectory of the Browning is the exact same as the Winchester...so, why are you guys wasting your money??"

So - lets discuss our passion in a respectful, non-dismissive manner. I apologize if I haven't done that well enough.
