I have a friend doing a solo set there , He told me its a club with a back line and I could hop on the drums if I want to make the trip .
I always wanted to play there , but that was back when I was young and slightly dumber .
Any one been there in the last year or two ?

Ah just curious about the atmosphere , is it all tech and half time show ?
Are there areas with low key stuff or is it all spread around , how tough is it to get around during the fest ?
Is there a cool local pub where regular players hang out .
Crap like that I guess

Is there a cool local pub where regular players hang out . Crap like that I guess Hey sorry, just saw this. The whole downtown area is taken over with madness and it spreads out from there. It's a bit tough to get around via car in the center of it but walking or electric scooters work well. It's best to have a look ahead of time to see who's playing and where so you can make a plan as there's so much going on it's easy to miss things. If you get out of the center it's a little more low key but expect most everywhere to be crowded, they're really well prepared though and most everyone I found to be friendly. I'd maybe check out the Broken Spoke, it's away from downtown, a fun place where I saw some good music and ate tasty food. Be ready for BBQ! |

Ive been looking at the events and there is a bewildering amount .
Yeah , I just gotta get off my ass and venture . Im sure theres lots of cool stuff .
Ive been pushing meat out of my diet but Ill be swimming in BBQ for sure When Im there !!
