Happy 2020, all.
I know Neumann used to make the SM2, but those are out of the question for me (pricey and beyond my threshold for gear maintenance). Odd that no one makes something like an SM2. Unless someone does and I'm in the dark. Anyone?
I'm not referring to a stereo pair of SDCs; I have a few stereo pairs and they're in constant use. I mean something like the SM69, but with small instead of large diaphragms. A single stereo mic with vertically stacked capsules. Not the Rode NT4 or other similar solutions. Like the old SM2 kind of physical package.
Mondo thanks in advance, -09

We had an SM2 at Motown and it quickly became a favorite. That experience was a lot of why using all KM-86s was chosen when we upgraded to solid-state Neumanns.
