Hey Guys,
I've been playing in a modern bro/pop country cover band, probably playing most of the songs that you guys hate. Aldean, FGL, Carrie Underwood, Etc.
Anyway, we're in the process of a name change and am looking for suggestions. What ya got?
Also, got any suggestions for songs to play that the crowds will dig?
Thanks!
-Jesse

Here's a hint - If it's even REMOTELY "urban" or "politan" it ain't country.

But can we make an exception for Keith Urban, right John E? OK Band names... How about "The Tailgators"? Or "The Rhode Warriors". Maybe "The Wilde Bunch". You could also hit the Trailer Hitch circuit with... "Trashville Cats". Uh Oh. When I checked there was ALREADY a band with that name! Chris

The key to being a successful band is naming your band “Free Beer”! With your name being on the marquee, everyone will show up! This can take some time to figure out. I used a street name on my last cover band attempt. We all liked it because it was a famous street in an old small town, and it just had a ring to it. Everyone wanted to live on that street, it was a very popular stretch of road, and it just sounded cool to say it.

That will only attract dudes. You need something that attracts females, and that will triple the amount of dudes.. something like. “Free Amazon Gift Cards”

If you're after female alcoholics then "Free Beer" might work (it sure worked on the punkettes), but in other circles maybe "Free Cosmos" or "Free Long Islands" might work better?
