Hmm. I really appreciate that manley makes good gear in the USA, but damn do they need someone with some design sense to design their frontpanels. Yuck.

when you see the core racked above a vari mu the front panel makes all the sense in the world. someone over there is thinking hard about the design without question.

I wonder if whoever gets them will be getting clients because their studio pictures are loaded with expensive Manley gear next to the Digi 002.

Good value to a repair shop. All those knobs and meters alone are worth a good bit.

Sorry Manley Core had to be returned. I did not realise that the mic preamp have a variable feedback feature disguised as a high gain switch. Boy if you need more then 40db and you turn this on you get a lot of "hiss" from the secondary output stage of the 12AX7 tube. After getting it checked out by contracted technicians it was deemed an inherent part of the design. Just did not work out for me. I should have read up more on Manleys Tube Preamp designs.
It did sound nice enough in Low gain mode. Eveanna was very helpful in trying to troubleshoot the problems. Looks like its the Portico II now.
