I finally got round to finishing my mic, thanks again for your superb transformer! Initial tests are a super quiet noise floor, and a sound that's exquisite. Don't know quite how to describe it.. All my other mics sound like margarine now, and this thing sounds like butter! I've put it up against a U87 and a couple of 414's.
