Through sheer laziness, I've not really bothered approaching companies about banner ads...but I just opened up some of the stats and the banner ads I'm running are getting around 450,000 raw impressions per month. That's a lot. Anyway, advertising is super cheap...this would cost you an employee's salary at Gearslutz.

So - advertisers, I am about 1/20th the price of a certain other Pro Audio Forum for the same number of impressions per month. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

I have been SOOOO lax on reaching out to companies - so, I need to change that. Who wants some cheap ad space with tons of impressions per month?

Just a note to anyone that's interested. The site is getting around 500,000 page requests per month. That's a lot of eyes for very little money.

Question, if I may ask. Is this only for manufacturers, or can studios use this as well? Been pondering it, but not sure if it would be worth it.

Just stumbled upon your thread, albeit it's kinda dated, but man, those numbers are still hella impressive, ain't they? That kinda raw traffic screams ""opportunity""! You were onto something even 4 years back! As someone running the best local SEO service in town (we're all about the 'organic growth' life, not the 'paying through the nose' one), I know the importance of tapping into such ad potential. I gotta say, your rates sound so chill compared to the corporate giants out there. But hey, here's a thought, how 'bout we boost that traffic even further? With a local SEO game on point, I bet we can really maximize that audience engagement. |
