Hi everyone,
perhaps silly question (newbie here): I'd like to move Kontakt library from a Mac to another Mac (samples will remain on an external drive).
Here my situation: The "starting" Mac is an Hackintosh with Sierra 10.12.3 and Kontakt 5.6, and a lot of third party libraries (all the large stuff, i.e. the samples, is stored in an external USB3-SSD). The "arrival" Mac is a MacbookPro with Sierra 10.12.6 and Kontakt 6.0.4 (a bit different version). I will obviously connect the same external drive with the samples, but I have also to transfer all the "libraries-installed-on-the-OS" of the Hackintosh to the MacbookPro's OS.
The question: is it possible? (Even between two non-identical Kontakt versions?) Or should I re-install all the libraries one-by-one?
Thanks really a lot for your help!

In the past I'd always have to point Kontakt to the new location if it's expecting the samples in a certain place, not difficult but tedious if you have a lot of libraries. I haven't had to do it in a while but I'd assume it'll be the same for your situation. I'm sure (or would surely hope) there's a more efficient way, hopefully someone has a better answer. Luckily you only have to do it once, until you move it again.
