I’m in Toronto, so ...
I m not an especially big hoops fan, but my kid is.
The parade starts a 20 minute walk from my old place, before the divorce, and I probably walked the dog past there a few hundred times. Don’t think I’m gonna go, but it’s fun for the city. And props to St. Louis for the Blues improbable comeback from last at the start of the year to winning the Cup! Incredible.
Cheers, Geoff

Uh, right. The game was won because of a foul that caused an injury to one of our key guys that will take him out of circulation for a year. And still it was a 4 point game.
I don't think any congratulations are in order. More like a disqualification. Basketball is not supposed to be a contact sport. This thuggery must cease.
It appears that the only way to win a championship against the Warriors is by injuring one or more key players. That's just wrong.

Gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. Yeah the Raptors played an aggressive defensive game, in all of their series. But deliberately trying to injure? No way. Don’t forget Fred VanVleet lost a tooth. There was some hard contact going both ways. Draymond was in danger of fouling out of the series, not one of our guys.
The better team won. Did injuries play a role? Sure, but they always do. KD should probably never have been in there. Had he been healthy, yeah, different series.
Cheers, Geoff
