I wasn't aware that the story song is dormant, but "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald", "Ode To Billy Joe, , "Same Old Lang Syne" , etc. etc. etc. is great stuff. Here's an article about story songs. "Boy Named Sue" , referenced in the article, being another one. |
