Requisite Audio

Just wanted to give you all a heads up on the new Requisite Audio headphones slated for a September 2013 release. Owner of RA, the brilliant Danny McKinney, has invented a pure ribbon headphone that simulates an acoustically tuned mixing room. No more reflexions, standing waves etc. You'll be able to touch up mixes on your couch or on a plane. He managed to get the magnetic interference to lower than the earths magnetic force. Real uber geek stuff. This is the same guy who custom built almost every piece of gear in Mutt Lange's Switzerland studio, including the Black Lion FM 192. I'll never use another I/O again. With the new clock it makes Pro Tools HD sound like a piece of semi pro gear. The headphones will retail for around $1600 and come with a 4 input Pre amp, 3 additional with the one set of cans that come with. This is a massive breakthrough for home studios. I'm on the short list for the first shipment. I'll keep you posted.
