Thesee are now definitely on my list. Well after this endorsement they are. Can anyone compare them to capi or the originals?

Wow. I can't believe how fast you are moving along with this. The 'great gods of outboard hardware' will be bowing to you in no time. Very impressive.

Want to add;
Whistle Rock Audio. Mike Fatom is a stand up guy and designs very affordable API related PCB's and stuff.
Frank's Nrg (in Germany so USA dudes beware there's a vat charge) but his front panels are awesome and he's very very very helpful. Great for PCB grinder related projects. On that note I can't express how helpful Gustav is cause he's Really Fucking helpful.
Just a few I have personally dealt with that along with many mentioned have been really helpful.
Oh yeah and Dan from collective cases will let you keep bugging him regarding gear choices. Just kidding. Another stand up guy who deserves way more than he will ever ask.

I really like the wa76. I've used countless urei and ua revisions as well as use the drip rev d often and the wa76 definitely hangs with them in sonic capabilities as far as filling up tracks in a mix or for tracking vox and everything regarding the bass. Awesome compressor. As a matter of fact I just won a little prize for my review of the wa76 and although I shower it with praise (which is rare for me to do) I don't regret a word.

If one hasn't ever worked with wood (or as a friendly reminder) dont forget to pre drill the frame before screwing it together. I've used a variety of methods. For wall mounting you can use pine (it's light!)and frame anchors. I suggest two hooks on the top and at least one at the bottom. For ceilings use four hooks but you can use wire coat hanger to determine how far from the ceiling they hang (I did about three inches). Like all Diy measure twice cut once. In my case though its measure 3 times. Also putting the framing (if cut well) on the outside can look nice. Especially if you paint or stain the wood or use nice wood.
