Hi,
Im interested in hearing of people's use of the wt compressor on a stereo bus.How does one link and control two units and what buses are you using it with? I envision parallel drum and vocal busses as typical uses so interested to hear others or perhaps most are using it as a n insert.

Personally, I'm using both of mine on inserts 98% of the time. I'm sure they would be awesome on busses, but for some reason, that's always how I end up using them.....creature of habit I guess. BTW - they sound FREAKING awesome!! I'm in the process of getting some more Locomotive gear as we speak. Eric is a (mostly) unsung hero in the high end boutique at reasonable prices front. I personally wouldn't bother with some of the other cheaper alternatives after hearing the Locomotive line. Highly recommended.

I'm usually tracking bass and a vocal through mine. I'm mixing all ITB, so they're not ending up on busses at mix. I'm mostly using them in drive for some character.

I'm curious how well they do on bus duty, most simple vari-mu don't link terribly precisely, and require setup with mono test tones to get real balance within a given gain reduction range. True even with really well matched tubes across both units.

How would these sound on heavy rock vocal bus? I feel like I could be in the market for something like that.

Hmm I think if you want a vari mu stereo bus comp you should just get one that's for that. Like the IGS Tubecore or the Stamchild.
Will take a lot to get two of these to track well together I think for your bus duties.
