I found this interesting announcement from Musikmesse. Seems like a nice offering that's a bit like an EQ with saturation added to liven things up. Made in England.
Here is a fairly comprehensive overview of hearing it on various source material.

It’s interesting how saturation and color boxes are suddenly fashionable, for my money though I think I would grab something in the Color Module format, it just gives you so many great options and if multiband is something you want to play with buy some old variable crossovers, they’re cheap and let you experiment in some very strange, cool and insane ways no multiband box ever will!

So you'd look down on this one?
Did you notice it has crossover features? Or is this handled in a different manner? I'm not aware of a box you're referring to.
If by color module, you mean the DIYRE and LTL stuff...I don't plan to go 500 series anytime soon. But I do think they have some great products there.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Drawmer is also releasing a new stereo eq called the 1974 - both aiming to be available this summer from what I can tell. I mostly mix in the box along with the Silver Bullet. But I'd love to add an outboard analog stereo eq and will be curious to hear more in depth reviews of the 1974.

I have a Drawmer 1978 that is wonderful and can get some saturation going for sure.

sirthought - If you are looking for a versatile FET buss compressor, the 1978 is hard to beat. I use it as a mono comp as well with excellent results. Great on drums. Drawmer stuff is really solid and actually pretty creative with helpful features. I feel like they fly under the radar more than they should... I feel like Ive seen em pop up for around $800 on sales. I got mine for $850. Hard to beat!
