So you have to purchase them from the physical factory location? I think they did something similar for the first several units of the Minimoog reissue.

Guitar is close by the factory. Or at least close-ish.

Just got the email.
Yeah I am about 15 minutes from Moog.
If anyone wants me to facilitate a purchase and shipment feel free to PM me. I have no idea what the price is.
Wish I could nab one personally but it's simply not possible for me right now.

I sent an email asking for price and the ticket said they will get back to me in 2-3 business days.
I might be interested depending on price.

I have one that I may never part with (the price of these going up has had me tempted). Absolutely incredible sounding delay if thick vintage sound is your thing.

$1K for an analog delay box? Hahaha And for mono at that. It would need to be stereo for me to even consider it, and even then....

$1K for an analog delay box? Hahaha Oh, they will absolutely sell out of them. And rather quickly, I would imagine.

I’ve tried quite a few delays - and have yet to find anything even close to replicating what this does. It’s also a great saturation box.

If you've ever heard or used one in a guitar pedal board, you'll understand why today's effects kids are so crazy about them

Our buddy spindrift picked one up and I got to try it out for a little bit before I sent it out. What can I say, It's a Moog delay (delay, delay.) If you like the bucket brigade delay "thing" this is pretty much going to be close to the end of your search. Repeats are clean and long lasting, no noise or any BS like that. That much right there is hard enough to achieve when building something like this. Preamp is really crisp and has that Moog character I've come to expect. Crunches in a pretty nice way if you want it. Tap tempo is a must-have feature in a delay like this. LFO section is full featured. You can go for a long warm delay with a subtle warble. Or you can go to "strange places" very easily by dialing in extreme settings. It's your own one man noise band show. My favorite setting was just that, a long warm delay with a slow tape like modulation. That's sort of my go-to delay sound anyway. My sad story is that I finished building my own BBD delay the same day, from Madbean Pedals. It turns out that MadBean shipped out a PCB that doesn't work, and there's no way to fix it. So that's probably 8+ hours of soldering and drilling and who knows how many dollars on parts expended. It's noisy and it sounds like shit. I'm going to rebuild the enclosure into a triple fuzz pedal so I am looking forward to that. Which brings me to the final point of talking to Moog Man at the store. He said these are "The most in demand of all Moog products right now." I said hey man can't you build 'em with some easy chip? He said, "We tried all that, none of them sound good enough as the old Panasonic parts." OK then, there you have it. Anyway I hope spindrift enjoys his nice new delay!

It also has a 5 pin midi input - which allows full midi automation for all its parameters. Super DAW friendly for such an analog effect.
The CV inputs also allow for some very complex sounds in a modular set up.
It’s been absolutely wonderful as a mono send/return - but now I’m wondering if I should grab a second one now that they’re available.

I didn't even really have time to look at that. Lots of expression pedal inputs too I think.
